We saw a lot of tracks and after hiking into the Great Black Hills 3 ½ miles the first day, and also coming out the
same day, we were pretty tired of backpacking.  We saw some fresh tracks, we saw some good locations, but we
didn’t see a lion.  Oh well we had fun, and the 4 of us played poker, told lies, and made an honest effort to kill a
mighty cougar.  It’s all about family, fun and enjoying the outdoors, I consider these 3 guys family, we had fun, and we
certainly enjoyed the outdoors.












This is a cave along the trail, the boys were worried about me, but I went in anyway.

After this climb and then decent, 2 of our party were pretty banged up, winter hunting in the hills is not for the faint of
heart, you never know what lies over the next hill.
